Oar Curtain Rods

So I have two open closets in my bedroom and I want to put curtains up to hide the gaggle of shoes and purses that I store in a heap on the floor.... I came across this cool idea from Country Living to make a curtain rod out of oars!

I really like this idea... and so begins my hunt for an old pair of oars.
