Reupholstered Dining Chairs

Free table from Craigslist oh yah!

The hardest part about this makeover is removing thestaples from the cushions. After that you just staple gun the cut fabric into place. Okay I should actually say the hardest part about this makeover was picking the fabric, there are so many cool patterns and fun colors!

Simply sitable!

Blue Nightstand and Dresser Before and After

The title says it all here folks. Amber and I found an unlikely pair at Goodwill for less than $10 for both. Quick spritz in a lighter shade of blue and knobs for the nightstand. I was considering painting the dresser handles but I liked the contrast and the ode to the deep blue.

Free Dresser Fix Up - Paint It White!

Last October I saw this free Dresser posted on Facebook marketplace. I threw Dylan in the car and we ran to get it!

When I picked it up I noticed that the previous owner had started spray painting it white, but did not get very far. Now normally I would never have thought to paint this dresser at all! The wicker crevices and the bamboo details would cause too much of a challenge for my typical quick flip! But the project had already been started and I was determined to finish it. It sat in my garage all winter and then finally on the first nice day of spring I pulled it out.

With the help of a gravity fed compressor powered spray painter, I painted this bad boy White. Of course I forgot to take a before photo but here she is in her luminous white washed glory!

I actually think I’m going to keep this one for now.

Wood Tray Upcycle - Thrifty Rustic Beach Style

The spring season always inspires me! I find myself hunting for furniture to fix up and flip. This little quickie was my first project of the season. It was a perfect little launching off point!

I went to a nearby rummage sale - hooray for rummage sales! - and they had to fill a garbage bag for a dollar deal! I shuffled through their clothes and home goods, kitchen wares and filled my bag with miscellaneous items I definitely did not need. I found a few cute onesies for my one year old and yet another green shirtfor the two year old.

Then I spotted this simple wood tray! Yes! And the flipwas on. Here is what I did to it!

The goods

I love how it came out! I got that twine at the dollar store last year and have had that paint for a while so this cost me about $1 and 30 minutes!

Wishing you all a wonderful spring!
